The ultimate question is, "Who is your master?"
Romans 6:18 "and having been freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness."
Romans 6:20 "For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness."
Romans 6:22 "But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life."
The ultimate question is, "Are you a slave to sin or a slave to Jesus Christ?" To be a slave Jesus Christ is really no slavery at all. To be a slave to Jesus is really a calling to be an obedient son to God.
As you go through this site and return to visit, I pray that your heart will be drawn to the Master. If you are not set free from sin, I pray that this site will lead you to the door where Jesus stands and knocks.
Jesus came into the world that His Father would be glorified.
John 17:1 "These words spoke Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and
said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may
glorify thee." Everything Jesus did was done for the sole purpose of
glorifying His Father in Heaven.
Just as Christ came for one reason, to glorify the Father, so are we called. John 21:19 “This spoke He, signifying by what death He should glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He saith unto him, ‘Follow me.’” The greatest act that Jesus did to glorify the Father was to take up His cross and be crucified. The only way we can glorify the Father is to follow Jesus' example and take up our cross. A person may never be called to physically die for the sake of glorifying the Father in Heaven; but if we are to follow Christ as He calls us to, we must take up our cross.
